Cassidy Van Praet
Co - President
Cassidy is a third-year BComm student, majoring in marketing. She hopes to use her skillset to create fun and engaging content to grow the society. Growing up as a competitive soccer player, her passion for sports and business drove her to join the DSBS team to spread the word! Cassidy is eager to grow the society and promote the sports business community within Dalhousie.
Reagan Lindsay-Kereluik
Co - President
Reagan is a third-year student currently studying Sports Business and Entertainment Law at Arizona State University on a Fulbright Canada Killam Fellowship. Growing up she played over 10 seasons of competitive ice hockey, and later worked as a coach and mentor for young athletes. She then went on to complete a summer internship with a sports agency, where she attended the NHL Entry Draft in Montreal. Today, she remains heavily involved in athletics through her work with the Dalhousie Tigers as a statistician and content creator, her role as a Sports Programs Manager for Sun Devil Fitness and Wellness, and as a part of her internship with the sports strategy and entertainment consulting firm Navigate. Outside of work and the DSBS, Reagan also founded and is currently the president of Dalhousie Women in Sport, as well as the incoming President of the Dalhousie Football Club. As an avid sports fan and an advocate for female representation in sports, Reagan joined the DSBS team to make industry connections and meet like-minded people.
Chase Tymoszewicz
Finance Director
Chase is a fourth-year Commerce student who is originally from Barrie, ON. He joined DSBS to meet like-minded people who also have a passion for sports and business. Chase has played hockey for over 15 years and is an avid long-distance runner. Not only does he love traditional sports, but e-sports as well. He hopes to help the DSBS work through logistics of running exciting new events that provide many people with outstanding opportunities to break into the world of sports business.
Ryan Hyndman
Marketing Director
Ryan is a passionate sports fan, with a Sport Management undergraduate degree from Brock University. He is currently enrolled in the Corporate Residency MBA program at Dalhousie University and is pursuing a career in hockey sector, with specific interest in digital marketing.
Thomas Sarkozy
Events Director
Thomas is from Ottawa, Ontario, completing his 4th year of my Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program with a major in Marketing. He is a big hockey and basketball fan with his favourite teams being the Sens and Raptors. Thomas is looking forward to a great year of engaging and connecting with the society.
Rio Huynh
Events Director
Rio is a third-year management student from Toronto, ON majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation. Growing up, she competed in a number of sports including soccer, gymnastics, and cheerleading, and loves to work in youth sports programs. Rio hopes to use her experience on the DSBS team to develop her knowledge in the sports industry further and connect with people who share the same interests. As an advocate for equality and inclusivity, she hopes to encourage students from marginalized communities to participate in sports and bring people together that share similar passions.
Kellyn Golding
Marketing Associate
Kellyn is a third year Bachelor of Commerce Student majoring in Marketing. She is originally from Toronto, ON and chose to go to school in Halifax to experience something new. Although she doesn't play any sports, she is a huge sports fan, specifically Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. It is her dream in life to be the General Manager and or President of the Blue Jays one day. She has completed two co-ops at Sportsnet and is constantly trying to work her way up. She is excited to bring new ideas and incorporate what she has learned during her co-ops to DSBS. She is excited for the future and excited to join a great team!
Julia Bissonnette
Marketing Associate
Julia is a first-year commerce student from Ottawa, Ontario hoping to major in marketing. Growing up a female athlete she grew a strong passion for sports. Throughout the years, Julia has competed in sports such as hockey, skiing, tennis, and soccer. At Dalhousie, she currently works as a spotter for the men’s and women’s Dal Tigers hockey teams and wishes to use this experience along with knowledge gained from DSBS towards future goals. Julia advocates for equality in the industry and hopes that both athletes and sport fans can share an inclusive community and create opportunity.
Preston Moon
Finance Associate
Preston is a second-year commerce student and sports enthusiast. He hopes to bring his past finance experience to the growing Dal Sports Business Society team. He is very interested in the business aspect of sports, and excited for a great semester with DSBS!
