Society Representatives

I am a first-year Commerce Student with the intentions of majoring in marketing or finance and completing a minor in entrepreneurship. I am a huge sports guy. I’ve played 12 years of competitive soccer, one year for the Costa Rican reigning champs and for the past 6 years i’ve played American football - now currently playing for Dalhousie. I’ve also been able to use my leadership skills to help out coaching for my local high school. I joined the DSBS as I see it as the perfect opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, learn more about the world of sports business, and set up long lasting relationships that will be beneficial in the future.

Naomi is a second year BComm student from Ottawa, Ontario who is planning to major in marketing.  She grew up playing a wide array of sports including rugby, tennis, and soccer, but her main focus was on rugby. Naomi joined the DSBS to combine her creativity and her enthusiasm about marketing with her passion for the sports community. She is excited to work with the other members and explore the sports business industry

Connor is a second-year Commerce student from Ottawa, Ontario. He currently plays football as a Defensive Back for the Dal Tigers Football Team. Growing up, he played 10 seasons of competitive hockey as a goalie and later transitioned into coaching young athletes. Connor joined the DSBS to gain connections and real-world experience within the Sports Industry.

Jordan Ronan is a third-year Recreational Management student. She grew up participating in a variety of different sports such as dancing, ski racing, and competitive horseback riding. She remains involved in competitive sports through her work with the Dalhousie Football Team, Halifax Mooseheads and the Halifax Thunderbirds. Jordan joined DSBS to help others learn about the amazing opportunities the society offers no matter their skill level.

Al is from Toronto, currently in second year studying commerce. He chose to be part of DSBS due to a passion for sports and curiosity about the intertwining of sports and the world of business. Al is very excited for the rest of the year!
